Social Media Policy

Purpose and scope

Social media is a powerful way for IGNITE to listen, engage, and share stories. It helps build relationships with our communities, clients, and partners.

This policy guides how people connected to IGNITE should behave online. It applies to employees, brand affiliates, independent distributors, contractors, and vendors. It covers all social platforms, blogs, messaging apps, forums, and any other digital channel.

The aim is simple. Use social media in ways that are safe, respectful, and aligned with IGNITE’s values and commitments. Your online actions can strengthen or weaken trust in our brand.

Transparency and representation

Always be clear about who you are and how you are connected to IGNITE. Do not misrepresent your role or authority.

If you post about IGNITE, our products, services, or business opportunities on a personal account, include a disclaimer. A suitable example is: “The opinions expressed here are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of IGNITE.”

Only call yourself an official spokesperson if you have written authorization from IGNITE. Otherwise, describe yourself by your actual role, such as employee, Brand Affiliate, or independent distributor.

Do not use IGNITE trademarks, logos, or brand names in your personal usernames, social handles, or domain names. Personal profiles must look like individual accounts, not official company channels.

Content standards and good practice

What you post reflects on you and on IGNITE. Use good judgment before you publish, share, or comment.

When talking about IGNITE products, services, or the business, make sure information is accurate and consistent with official materials. Use only approved claims and descriptions from the IGNITE website or authorised communication assets.

The following are not allowed:

  • Misleading or exaggerated statements.
  • Health, wellness, or performance claims that are not backed by approved documentation.
  • Income or earning claims that are not representative or cannot be substantiated.

Testimonials must be honest and reflect typical, realistic outcomes. Do not promise results or earnings that others are unlikely to achieve.

Respect is non-negotiable. Do not post or share anything that is abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory toward individuals or groups.

Always respect copyright and intellectual property. Credit sources where required and obtain permission before using third-party content such as images, videos, music, or articles.

Confidentiality and brand protection

Never share confidential or proprietary information about IGNITE, our clients, or our partners. This includes internal documents, financial data, personal information, and details of unreleased projects or strategies.

Do not discuss internal issues, disputes, or investigations on public platforms. Sensitive topics must be handled through official channels.

Be careful what you endorse. A like, share, tag, or repost can be seen as support for the content. Do not engage with content that is defamatory, misleading, illegal, or in conflict with IGNITE’s values and policies.

If you see content online that may harm IGNITE’s reputation, do not respond publicly on behalf of the company. Flag the content to the Communications or Compliance team so they can decide the appropriate next step.

If you have a complaint or concern about IGNITE, use the designated internal escalation or customer support channels. Publicly posting grievances makes resolution harder and can damage trust in the brand.

Compliance, monitoring, and consequences

Everyone covered by this policy is expected to read, understand, and follow it. It operates alongside the IGNITE Code of Conduct and any other relevant policies or market-specific regulations.

IGNITE may review public social media activity where the brand, products, leaders, or partners are referenced. This helps protect our people, our communities, and our reputation.

Breaches of this policy may lead to action. For employees, this may include formal warnings or termination of employment, subject to local law. For Brand Affiliates and other partners, it may include suspension or termination of contracts or agreements, and in serious cases, legal action.

By using social media responsibly, you help IGNITE tell authentic stories, build trust, and create value for our stakeholders. Thank you for contributing to a safe, respectful, and constructive digital environment for our community.
